At the heart of what we do is a belief that design should elevate and enhance your life. Our work is characterised by an acute sense of light, a rigorous attention to detail and an understated simplicity. Homes enriched by warmth of tactile raw materials, soft flowing forms and a harmonious relationship with their natural landscape.

Chris Trotta, founding director of Trotta Architecture discovered his passion for design and creative expression early on by sketching perspectives of his family home and reimagining its floor plan. During his university years, Chris honed his drawing skills, which became a cornerstone of his design approach. In his early career, he shared this enthusiasm by teaching students and emerging architects the value of communication through sketches and diagrams.
Ambition brought Chris to Sydney, where he was fortunate to work under the guidance of Bruce Stafford at Stafford Architecture before opening LiteraTrotta in 2020 and now, Trotta Architecture. Driven by a dedication to personally crafted, meaningful design, Chris is intimately involved in each project. Drawing upon decades of experience in luxury residential architecture—specifically within Sydney’s eastern suburbs—he seamlessly guides clients through every step of the process to create timeless and enduring homes, for generations to enjoy
